Personality
I believe learning should be fun and engaging. I like to break things down in order to understand a concept from the bottom up. I apply this in language learning by breaking down a bigger concept into smaller, workable tasks. I enjoy finding ways to make learning enjoyable and to support the students in their progress and help them through any rough areas in their learning.
Biography (tutoring history)
I’ve been doing private tutoring since 2019. In 2018 I started a weekly Spanish learning workshop for university students learning Spanish as a foreign language and for Francophones learning Spanish. Created lesson plans specifically for anglophone and francophone students learning Spanish after taking a class on how to teach Spanish to French-speakers and a course on comparative French-Spanish grammar. My goal is to make language learning fun and engaging with activities and active participation from the students.
